For the past 15 years the traders’ association of Haworth has organised an annual 1940s weekend in May. It has got bigger and better every event and has now become so enormous that a committee of local people have stepped up to organise the weekend and raise money for Help For Heroes.
The weekend is great fun with vintage cars, a military vehicle parade, bands, dancing and a 1940s remembrance service. Whether you’ve been before or fancy coming along for the first time, the Official Haworth 1940s Weekend website is currently being updated with all the information. It’s a fabulous weekend filled with vintage fun for everyone.
